Annual Showcase and Special Olympics Horse Show

Silver Lining Riding, located in Waddell, AZ, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization specializing in therapeutic/adaptive riding and horsemanship (Tax Id 27-5477350). Founded in 2011, Silver Lining Riding’s mission is Helping People Overcome Life’s Obstacles Through Equine Interaction. Along with our PATH International and CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) certified instructors, our therapeutic programs provide people with physical, emotional, psychological, and special educational needs the opportunity to develop self-confidence, increase core strength, decrease anxiety, and practice a myriad of other life skills that improve the quality of life for each student. For many of our students, Silver Lining Riding provides the closest feeling of independence they will ever have.

On February 25th & 26th, 2023, Silver Lining Riding will hold our rider Showcase and Special Olympics Show. This special 2-day event showcases Silver Lining Riding’s riders in a recital and a Special Olympics show, the latter including students from other riding centers in Arizona. In addition, the event will feature food, games for the kids, a silent auction, and a small marketplace. The event is free to spectators and fun for the whole family!

The Showcase will take place Saturday, February 25th, and Sunday, February 26th, from 8:00 am- 4:00 pm each day, and it will be held at Little Kentucky Stables located at 7220 N.185th Ave, Waddell, AZ.
